This is a plain-English summary of the terms that apply when you use FranchiseReview.co.uk. (A full legal version will be published before public launch.)

Who can use this site

Anyone can read the Register. To write a review, add a report, or claim a listing, you need to register an account with a real name and a verified email address.

Your content

When you post a review or report, you’re confirming it reflects your honest, genuine experience or knowledge. You keep ownership of what you write; you give us a licence to publish, display, and distribute it on the site. You’re responsible for what you post — see our moderation policy for what we will and won’t publish.

Anonymity and identity

Your real name and email are never shown publicly. Other users only ever see your system-assigned handle. We retain your verified details so that the formal dispute process described in our complaints policy can work properly if a review you’ve written is ever formally disputed.

Franchisor listings

Franchisors can claim their own listing, free of charge, to add verified figures and respond publicly to reviews. No franchisor can pay to be listed, to improve their ranking, to remove a review, or to prevent a listing being created in the first place.

Nothing on this site is financial, legal, or business advice. Reviews and reports reflect individual experiences and opinions, not our own assessment of any franchise. Always take independent professional advice before entering into a franchise agreement.
