How the Register stays honest
Reviewers are verified, not anonymous to us
Every reviewer registers with a real name and verified email. We assign a fixed, anonymous handle that's all anyone else ever sees. If a review is genuinely defamatory, we run the formal legal process — we don't just delete things because a franchisor complains.
Franchisors can respond, not remove
A brand can claim its listing, add verified data, and reply publicly to reviews. What it can't do is pay for placement, suppress a review it doesn't like, or buy a better ranking.
The data comes from the public record
Companies House filings, court and insolvency notices, regulatory rulings, and news coverage are pulled in automatically and linked from every brand page — not just what the franchisor chooses to publish.
